What are bridal photos?

I'm convinced that bridal photos must be a "southern or Texas thing". (I'm based out of Lubbock, TX and travel all over for weddings). All of my wedding packages offer bridal photos as an option, and I often have brides from other states ask me "What are bridal photos?". I absolutely love taking bridal photos and here is why:

1) Bridal photos offer you an opportunity to practice the full look before your big day. This includes spray tan, hair, makeup, as well as putting on your dress and shoes. You don't want to get to the day of your wedding and hate your hair/makeup or decide that your spray tan is too dark or worse... orange. Bridal photos allow you to test the full look out, so you know you will absolutely love the way you look on your wedding day.

2)Bridal photos give us a chance to spend more time focusing on you and that gorgeous dress. You spent a lot of money and time on that dress, make sure you show it off. Generally bridal sessions are 45 min to 1 hour. We focus solely on you and the dress.

3)Again, so much effort has gone into the dress and you are the star of the show after all. Bridal photos allow you to display a photo of you in the dress on your wedding day. Many brides like to order large canvas prints of them in the dress to display at the reception. This is also a great gift for mom after the wedding day!

I always recommend bridal photos to my brides. Make sure you love everything about your look before the big day!!
